Market value notices will soon be arriving in Minnetonka mailboxes. These valuations will affect property taxes to be paid in 2023. The city’s assessing division adjusts the market value of properties based on actual real estate sales of comparable properties from the past year. 

Did you know? At least 20 percent of all properties are physically inspected each year and adjusted based on the results of those inspections. Market value adjustments are also made for building additions, remodeling and other improvements.
