Mound College Student Recognized for Academic Achievement

Casey Simonson, a junior chemistry-biology major from Mound, was recently honored at the 2012 Ripon College Awards Convocation, an annual event recognizing student achievement during the academic year.

Casey is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Philip G. Simonson of Mound.

Simonson was honored with membership in Beta Beta Beta, which recognizes senior biology majors who have demonstrated the highest degree of excellence and initiative in biology classes. The award includes a letter of credit intended for the purchase of biology books.
