One of Nation's Top Wine Labels Has Roots in Wayzata

Domaine Serene has established itself as one of America's finest producers of Pinot Noir.

Some familiar faces were back on their home turf over the weekend.

Grace and Ken Evenstad left Wayzata in the late 1980s to pursue their dream of owning a vineyard. The couple now make their home in Oregon and operate a thriving winery that primarily produces top shelf Pinot Noir.

On Saturday the Evenstads and their label, Domaine Serene, were the guests of honor at a wine tasting event at Wayzata Wine & Spirits.
