Police Working With Neighboring Communities to Catch Home Burglars
Recent spate of home invasions may be linked to others in the west Metro.

Over the past few weeks there have been a number of residential day time burglaries in western Hennepin County. Three of these burglaries have been committed at unoccupied homes in the City of Greenwood.
Police believe the same individual or individuals are responsible for these burglaries and are trying to establish beforehand if anyone is home.
Various vehicles are being used to commit these burglaries, according to a Thursday statement released by the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department, and alarms systems have been disabled to avoid detection. South Lake Minnetonka police have stepped up patrols in residential neighborhoods and is coordinating investigative efforts with other law enforcement agencies experiencing similar burglaries in their respective communities.
