Truck Plunges into Lake Minnetonka, Driver OK
Driver walks to ambulance after veering into Lake Minnetonka Saturday evening.

Hennepin County emergency dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call at 5:55 p.m. Saturday, May 5, from a passing motorist reporting a truck in the water near the intersection of Manitou Road and Westpoint Road in Tonka Bay.
The driver of this partially submerged truck was able to free himself while emergency personnel were enroute to this scene. He was able to walk to the ambulance.

Responding to this incident were the , South Lake Minnetonka Police, a Hennepin County Sheriff`s deputy and paramedics from Hennepin County Medical Center.
