MINNETONKA BEACH, MN — Minnesota’s wealthiest cities did not vote in unison during the 2024 presidential election.

The high-income communities showed contrasting political leanings, with some giving slight edges to Republican President-elect Donald Trump, while others favored Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

According to U.S. Census data, Minnetonka Beach, Sunfish Lake, North Oaks, Dellwood, and Greenwood lead the state with the highest median household incomes, each well above $200,000.
