Wayzata P.D. Blotter: Broken iPad, Copper Theft and Curfew Violations

The following are a selection of notable incidents Wayzata Police Department officers responded to between April 9 and April 15. This is not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity.
A person used their credit card at a business in the 1400 block of Wayzata Boulevard East and then realized it was missing. Someone later purchased items with the card in other cities. It was reported around 8:30 p.m. April 13.
Two 14-year-old males were walking in the 1400 block of Wayzata Boulevard East at around 2:15 a.m. April 13. An officer warned them that they were violating curfew and contacted their parents.

A resident on Holdridge Road West found a back screen door open and a bird house broken at around 1:45 p.m. April 10. There was no other damage to the property and no one was in the house.
The theft of copper was reported from an electrical substation in the 700 block of Central Avenue North at about 11:13 a.m. April 10. The value of the copper is not known.

Someone knocked an iPad out of the hands of a middle school student in the 100 block of Barry Avenue North at about 7:42 a.m. April 10. The iPad was damaged.
