  • A 23-year-old Orono man was arrested in the early morning hours of May 14 in Long Lake. Andrew Vickeran was pulled over at the intersection of Wayzata Boulevard West and Martha Lane just before 2 a.m. last Saturday. He has been charged with third-degree driving while intoxicated.
  • A 42-year-old woman from Shorewood faces DWI charges after being stopped by police last Wednesday on Lake Street in Wayzata. Field tests indicate Tracy Hoganson's blood alcohol level was .09—just above the legal limit in Minnesota. Hoganson has been charged with a fourth-degree driving while intoxicated crime.
  • Wayzata police have observed kids jumping off the bridge on Grove Lane East and swimming in the lagoon. They have been advised to cease the activity.
  • A gas drive off resulting in a $49 loss was reported at a gas station along Wayzata Boulevard West in Long Lake on May 14. A second drive off at a fueling station on Wayzata Boulevard East in Wayzata, this one for $46, was reported the same day.
