Jenna Privette in Physical Therapy, Still No Leg Movement

Jenna Privette has a 'spinal concussion' according to her family, but rehabilitation is slow moving.

Jenna Privette, a  on Jan. 7, has been admitted to an in-patient physical rehabilitation program, but still doesn't have movement in her legs.

Penny Rich-Privette, Jenna's mother, said on her daughter's CaringBridge website that she "constantly pushes herself past (her therapy team's) expectations and then chuckles," during her almost-daily physical and occupational-therapy sessions at Gillette Childern's Hospital in St. Paul.

But, " Jenna still doesn't have movement in her legs.

"We would love to report some major or positive achievement, but that isn't the case at this point," Penny said on CaringBridge.

Jenna's injury hasn't garnered the same kind of , a Benilde-St. Margaret’s sophomore who was paralyzed during a game on Dec. 30, but Jenna's mother encouraged people to keep him in their prayers as well.

"I met Jab's and his family," Penny wrote on the wall of Jenna's Facebook group. "A very sweet young man and a wonderful family. Please remember to keep them in your prayers."

Meanwhile, Penny wrote that Jenna is still dealing with a lot of back pain, but is keeping up with her St. Croix Lutheran High School course work, despite not having made it back to school for classes yet, despite media reports to the contrary.
