Meet A Future Leader In Lakeville: Romi Chlebecek
Patch and T-Mobile have partnered to highlight young people achieving great things in our community.
The future of Lakeville is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders like Romi Chlebecek, who are making a positive impact in and around Lakeville.
Romi, who is a junior class officer at Lakeville South High School, was awarded the Minnesota State High School League’s (MSHSL) ExCEL Awards. The ExCEL (Excellence in Community, Education, and Leadership) award is a recognition for Minnesota high school juniors who are active in leadership, school activities and community service.
Romi has accumulated numerous sports accolades for her leadership. Among these, she earned all-state honors, led the South Lakeville girl’s volleyball team to their first state championship and earned South Suburban Conference honors. When Romi isn’t leading on the court, she is volunteering in her community and serving as vice president and treasurer of Key Club.
