Patch Match: Kids 'n Kinship Seeks Mentors for Youth

Each week, Lakeville Patch will post the profile of a child on the waiting list for a mentor with Kids 'n Kinship, a Dakota County-based organization that matches kids with adult mentors.

Interests: Calvin has lots of interests including basketball, the NFL, music, and sports center TV. 

Personality/Characteristics: Calvin is smart and witty and interested and respectful.

Goals/Dreams: Calvin would like a mentor who is interested in sports and who can be a positive person in his life. 

Looking For: If you are interested in getting to know a wonderful teen who has many interests, really wants a mentor and is very respectful and eager to learn, Calvin is the match for you!

For More Information: This child is one of almost 50 children currently waiting for a mentor through Kids ‘n Kinship, a private non-profit serving Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville and Rosemount in Dakota County for 40 years. If you're interested in becoming a mentor, you're invited to attend an information session oon Monday April 16, 6-6:45 p.m. at the Burnhaven Library in Burnsville. Mentors can volunteer as individuals, couples, or families for weekly fun and enriching activities at home or in the community on their own schedules.Thank you!
