Patch Poll: NCAA Tournament Upsets; Printable Bracket

For many-a-sports-fans, this is a most wonderful time of the year: tourney time.

The NCAA Mens Basketball Tournament opens on Tuesday, and in offices around the country, men and women, sports fans and those who just like the name of the mascot, are filling out brackets for the ubiquitous office pool.

And why not? The NCAA tournament is as compelling and thrilling as sports get, with non-stop upsets and buzzer-beaters to thrill even the die-hard book worm.

One of the reason the tournament is so compelling is the anything-can-happen thrill. Princeton can beat UCLA. North Carolina State can shock Houston's Phi Slamma Jamma. The Villanovas beat the Georgetowns.

And we ask you to share your upsets, too. Which Cinderella will be a giant killer? We can't list them all, but here we list the most common upset of all: the dreaded No. 5 versus No. 12 matchup. Historically, there's always one.
