Poll: Dad's Laptop Shooting Humiliation: Was He Justified?

To teach his daughter a lesson, a North Carolia father shot his 15-year-old's laptop with his gun, and posted the video of the event on her Facebook. Way to think outside of the box, or totally inappropriate?

Editor's note: I'm dying to know what Lakeville readers think of this, but parents beware as the attached video contains some foul language.

According to ABC News, a North Carolina father turned to his pistol and social media to get his daughter's attention after discovering she posted a expletive-filled rant about him, her mother, and her step-mother on Facebook.

The 8-minute, 23-second video, shows a man, who identifies himself as Tommy Jordan, reading a letter he found online from his 15-year-old daughter, Hannah, after he worked on her computer. Jordan said he was an IT professional and found it amusing she didn't think he'd discover the post.

The teen's post included a diatribe about having to do chores and being asked to get a job.

Her father responded by reading his daughter's letter on camera, and closed by taking a gun and shooting up the girl's laptop until he ran out of ammunition.
