Back To School: Mendota Heights 2021-22 School Calendar

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Mendota Heights, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Independent School District 197.

The first day of school for most students in Mendota Heights is Sept. 9.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Mendota Heights.

Patch has reached out to ISD 197 to inquire about mask policies for the 2021-22 school year.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Independent School District 197

First Day: Sept. 8 for Kindergarten, Grade 5, Grade 9, Sept. 9 for Grades 1-4, 6-8, 20-12

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26

Winter Break: Dec. 22-31

Spring Break: March 28-April 31

Last Day: June 9
