Boy Shot In The Legs In West Saint Paul: Police

He was brought to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

WEST SAINT PAUL, MN β€” A boy was shot in the legs multiple times in West Saint Paul on Monday, according to the West Saint Paul Police Department.

Just before 1 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to Roeller Avenue East on a report of shots fired, police said.

Officers found a boy inside with non-life threatening gunshot woulds to his legs, according to authorities. He was brought to Regions Hospital, police said.

Multiple shell casings were found on the roadway and it is believed that the house was targeted and this wasn't a random incident, according to officials.

The West Saint Paul Police Department said that the Mendota Heights Police Department and the Dakota County Sheriff's Office are helping in the investigation.
