Casting Call: Dakota Valley Symphony Seeking Musicians

The orchestra and chorus is looking for new performers for its 2012 to 2013 season.

The Dakota Valley Symphony is beginning a new season, and the group has put out a call for local musicians and singers to fill out its ranks.

The Dakota Valley Symphony, or DVS, was created in 1986. The non-profit is sustained by volunteers: The DVS isΒ comprised of a 60-member symphony orchestra, a 40-member mixed chorus and a 90-member Summer Pops orchestra and chorusβ€”all of whom donate their time and talents to the group.

The DVS also offers aspiring local composers a place to premier their work.
