Drop Your Drugs at the Mendota Heights Police Department
Dakota County residents can now safely and anonymously dispose of their prescription drugs.

Dakota County residents can now safely and anonymously dispose of their prescription drugs and over-the-counter medication at the City of Mendota Heights Police Department.
The collection box, which is free to the public, can be found located in the police department vestibule where it is accessible 24-7. For a list of medication types accepted, visit the Sheriff's Office Prescription Drug Drop-Off page.
For those items not accepted in the collection box, please consult The Recycling Zone website or call 651-905-4520. The Recycling Zone does not accept certain types of prescriptions, over-the-counter medication or hazardous materials.
