Jasper The Boxer Found Safe, Van Recovered: Police
The South St. Paul Police Department said that the sharing of its posts about Jasper was "crucial to bringing him home safely."
SOUTH SAINT PAUL, MN β Jasper the boxer, who was kenneled in the back of a van that was stolen in South Saint Paul on Saturday, has been found safe, South Saint Paul Police Department posted on its Facebook page.
The stolen vehicle was also recovered, but the investigation is ongoing, police said.
While the department said it is unable to share additional details, it said that the sharing of its posts about Jasper was "crucial to bringing him home safely."

According to a report by The St. Paul Pioneer Press, the van's owner, an Illinois woman, was in town with Jasper for a dog show when her van was stolen outside a South Saint Paul hotel.
