Oakdale Teen Dies In Mendota Heights Crash: State Patrol
The crash occurred on westbound I-494 West of Pilot Knob Road, officials said.
MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — An Oakdale teen was killed in a crash in Mendota Heights on Friday morning, Minnesota State Patrol said.
Naejiana Derajai Smith, 17, died when her Dodge Journey drove off westbound Interstate 494 and went into a ditch before crashing into the guard rail, officials said. The vehicle then rolled onto its side and hit a pole, according to officials.
