Local legislators virtually gathered Jan. 10 to hear a district update from Superintendent McIntyre and board members. At this annual gathering our leaders ask legislators to consider funding and policy decisions that support Osseo Area Schools. The four legislative priority areas shared for 2022 were:

• Stable, predictable funding and broadband access
• Safe and supportive learning environments
• Support achievement gap closure through recruitment and retention of a diverse workforce
• Reduce mandates
