Public Works Will Now Have Power in an Outage
Mendota Heights has a generator for the department, but now the city needs someone to install it.

The Mendota Heights Public Works Facility has a generator, but staff can't count on it in the event of a power outage.
Why? It hasn't yet been installed.
City Council members approved a $17,571 payment to Mid-Northern Electric at their July 16 meeting. The payment will come from the sanitary sewer utility fund and the facility reserve fund.
The generator will serve the sewer department, street department and parks department.
