Suni Lee Is A Sports Illustrated's Athlete Of The Year: Report

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Suni Lee, Olympic Gold Medalist from South Saint Paul, was recently named a Sports Illustrated's Athlete of the Year, the magazine said.

The other Athlete of the Year was Caeleb Dressel, an Olympic Gold Medalist swimmer for Team USA, Sport Illustrated said.

Both gold medalists were chosen for their performances during the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, according to Sports Illustrated.

The athletes were honored Tuesday night at The Sports Illustrated Awards, the magazine said.
