MINNEAPOLIS — The Twin Cities are about to ride a temperature rollercoaster, with spring warmth, thunderstorms, a sharp north-south divide, and even a shot at snow all packed into the next few days.

A warm front is expected to stall over central Minnesota on Friday, setting up a dramatic weather clash with think 80s in the south metro and 50s (or cooler) to the north, according to the National Weather Service

Storm chances ramp up late Thursday and again Friday, followed by a steep weekend cooldown that could bring rain, wind, and even snowflakes by Sunday.
