Jennifer Scharfencamp joins Northwestern Mutual - Twin Cities

NEW ULM, MINN. – DATE – Jennifer Scharfencamp, CFP®, has joined Northwestern Mutual’s Southern Minnesota office as director of operations, the office announced.

In her new role, Scharfencamp will focus on enhancing internal systems and ensuring clients receive personalized guidance at every stage of their financial journey. She brings more than 10 years of experience with Northwestern Mutual, where she earned her Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation and developed expertise in financial planning, operations and client service.

“Jennifer brings a wealth of experience and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed,” said Derek Skobroten, financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual – Twin Cities. “We’re excited to have her on board as we continue to grow and support clients across Southern Minnesota.”

Scharfencamp and her husband live in Franklin with their four children. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, volunteering and being active in her children’s school community. She attended Minnesota State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in business administration.

The Southern Minnesota office works with a diverse range of clients, including farmers, business owners, retirees and high-net-worth households, helping families and communities across the region build lasting financial security.
