Early Spring? March To Start Out In 50s: MN Weather
Say goodbye to anything resembling Minnesota winter. March is set to start out with highs soaring into the 50s, bringing an early spring.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Say farewell to anything remotely resembling a Minnesota winter. March —famous for roaring in like a lion and tiptoeing out like a lamb — is kicking off with a spring preview, as temperatures soar into the 50s and chase away the winter chill.
While early March in Minnesota is typically known for snowstorms and below-freezing temperatures, this year is shaping up differently.
The National Weather Service (NWS) forecast for the Twin Cities predicts an unseasonably warm start, with highs reaching the upper 40s and low 50s through next week.

Unseasonable Warmth, But Some Rain and Wind
The warm-up will come with a mix of sun, clouds, and some rain chances, particularly Tuesday night into Wednesday. Winds will also play a role, with gusts up to 40 mph, possibly on Friday, as a cold front moves in.
