Dry, Cooler Temperatures Ahead: MN Weather

MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesotans can expect relatively cool and dry weather for at least the next week.

"Rain and thunderstorms are now a thing of the past," the National Weather Service said. "Comfortable temperatures, low humidity levels, and dry weather will make for a pleasant end to August and start to September. Enjoy!"

Friday: Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 79. West wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 60. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 84. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Saturday Night: Clear, with a low around 58. West southwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming north northwest after midnight.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 73. North wind around 10 mph.

Sunday Night: Clear, with a low around 54. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Labor Day: Sunny, with a high near 74. Light south wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 57. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
