Here’s Where Minneapolis-Based Target Is Expanding With New Stores
The list shows that most of Target's near-term growth is concentrated in the South and Sunbelt regions.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Minneapolis-based Target has a list of future store openings, outlining where the national retailer plans to expand next as it continues investing in brick-and-mortar locations across the country.
Target says it considers a range of factors when selecting new store sites, including community needs, proximity to existing locations, site constraints and feedback from local officials and residents. The company notes there is already a Target store within 10 miles of most Americans, but says it is continuing to explore additional locations.
Opening dates for the newly announced stores have not been released. Target says the locations are planned to open in the future as part of its ongoing national expansion.
