A man accused of threatening deputies with a crossbow during a standoff in Hanover is still on the run, according to authorities.

HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN — A man accused of threatening deputies with a crossbow during a standoff in Hanover is still on the run, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.
It started around 3 p.m. Wednesday when deputies were called to a home on the 11000 block of Crow Hassan Park Road. They were there to keep the peace while a tow truck removed a vehicle during a dispute on the property.
At about 4:35 p.m., deputies say 27-year-old Randy Mathews came out of the house holding a crossbow and pointed it at them. He reportedly made threats, then ran back inside, police said.
