Man sentenced to life in prison for murder of Minneapolis real estate agent (fox9.com) — A man has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for orchestrating the 2019 kidnapping and killing of Minneapolis real estate agent and mother Monique Baugh. Prosecutors say he masterminded luring her to a fake Maple Grove showing before she was taken to an alley in Minneapolis and fatally shot. Co-defendants have also received lengthy prison terms.
   

5. Man found guilty in Minneapolis encampment triple homicide (kare11.com) — A man has been convicted of murdering three people at a Minneapolis encampment, bringing a measure of closure to a high-profile 2024 shooting on Snelling Avenue. Jurors found Earl Bennett guilty of three counts of second-degree murder, and he’s scheduled for sentencing on Jan. 16, 2026, as families and Minneapolis officials emphasize accountability and community safety.
