Map: Legal Weed Sales Just Began At These Shops In The Twin Cities Metro

Recreational marijuana sales are officially underway in Minnesota.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Recreational marijuana sales are officially underway in Minnesota, and adults 21 and older can now walk into licensed dispensaries and legally buy cannabis products.

The Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management announced Tuesday that the state’s two existing medical cannabis providers, Green Goods and RISE, have been cleared to sell recreational products at their dispensaries.

All eight Green Goods locations across Minnesota opened their doors to recreational customers Tuesday morning. That means you can buy cannabis today in:

  • Blaine (672 County Hwy. 10, Northcourt Commons)

  • Duluth/Hermantown (4960 Miller Trunk Hwy., Suite 300)
  • Moorhead (104 7th St. S)

RISE dispensaries began recreational sales on Wednesday in:

What To Know Before You Go

  • You must be 21 or older to purchase cannabis in Minnesota.
  • Both Green Goods and RISE will continue to serve patients in the state’s medical cannabis program, which has more than 59,000 participants.
  • Products available now include Tribally grown cannabis, sold through new supply chain partnerships with the White Earth Nation and Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.

State officials say this is just the start. More dispensaries and product options will roll out as new businesses, cultivators, and testing labs come online in the months ahead.
