1. More details are emerging about the Monday afternoon crash which led to injuries of six minors and one adult. A police pursuit of a vehicle involved in multiple robberies led to the crash near Penn Avenue North and Olson Memorial Highway. One of the injured teens remains in critical condition with a fractured skull. (Patch)
2. The Minneapolis Police Department reported a "significant" decrease in shooting victims during the month of May than in previous years. According to Bring Me the News, 27 people were shot last month in the city, down from 50 in 2022 and 93 in 2021. (BMTN)
3. Mayor Jacob Frey discussed new recommendations made by his "Vibrant Storefronts Work Group" to "create a vibrant downtown." Ideas included "closing off Nicollet Mall to traffic and making it pedestrian-centered." (KARE11)
