Popular Minnesota TV Anchor's New Assignment Announced
The popular meteorologist just joined KARE 11 after nearly seven years at a rival station.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Wren Clair, a popular and familiar face to Twin Cities TV news viewers, has officially joined the KARE 11 weather team.
Clair spent more than seven years delivering forecasts at KSTP-TV and previously worked at stations in Wisconsin and Boston.
She will now appear on KARE 11 News Sunday Morning and provide regular updates on KARE 11+ throughout the week, the NBC affiliate announced Tuesday.

A Wisconsin native, Clair studied chemistry at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities before earning a degree in atmospheric science and meteorology from Mississippi State University.
She began her television career in Wisconsin and Boston before returning to Minnesota, where she quickly became one of the metro’s most recognized meteorologists.

"We're excited to have Wren join the team of talented meteorologists at KARE 11," Doug Wieder, President and General Manager of KARE, told the Star Tribune.
"Her expertise in weather forecasting and commitment to viewers aligns perfectly with our station’s mission."
Clair delivered her final forecast at KSTP in February, though no reason was publicly given for her sudden departure.
