Inflation in the Twin Cities is surging—Minneapolis just ranked among the fastest-rising metros in the U.S.

TWIN CITIES, MN — The Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area has one of the fastest-rising inflation rates in the country, ranking sixth for the largest two-month price increase among major U.S. cities, according to a WalletHub study.

The report, which analyzed Consumer Price Index data from 23 metro areas, found inflation in the Twin Cities rose 1.5 percent over the past two months and 3 percent over the past year, placing it 10th overall for inflation impact.
