Earlier this summer, the department was able to reunite a cyclist who lost their bike while driving. The cyclist later spotted the bike on Minnetonka's Foundrop webpage and was able to connect with the department to get it returned quickly.
“When something valuable goes missing, you don’t always know where to start the search,” said Kelly O’Donnell, police department crime scene and evidence specialist. “We’re pleased to have a one-stop resource for residents to find lost or stolen items.”
How it works
Search for Recovered Property
- Minnetonka Police Department posts found property, including bikes, electronics, pets – just about anything! – on foundrop.com or through the mobile app.

Post Lost or Stolen Property
- Residents can report and post photos of lost or stolen property on foundrop.com or the mobile app.
