Dryer Fire Extinguished at Minnetonka Strip Mall
One firefighter suffered heat exhaustion.
Kara Carluccio, owner of Living Waters Market & Cafe, was about to watch a movie downstairs when she smelled smoke.
When she started visibly seeing the smoke, she dialed 9-1-1.
Just before 9 p.m., the received a report of smoke at a strip mall located at 12201 Minnetonka Blvd.

"When we got here, we found pretty moderate smoke conditions inside," said Minnetonka Deputy Chief Kevin Fox.

"We put it out with one handling off the truck," Fox said. After that, firefighters worked on ventilating the building, which he said was proving to be a challenge.
One firefighter suffered heat exhaustion. There were no other injuries.
St. Louis Park, Hopkins and Plymouth fire departments helped at the scene.
