Adath Jeshurun Congregation hosts a panel discussion about the “December Dilemma” and its impact on interfaith families, couples, parents and grandparents of interfaith couples, people who have grown up in interfaith families, and other adult family members.
Couples and family members will have the opportunity to hear about dilemmas and issues that may surface for them at the approach of the winter holiday season. Panelists will share what is helpful to them in negotiating these issues and in sorting out their values and differences.
The panel will include a variety of people with interfaith relationships in their families, with Rabbi Harold Kravitz of Adath Jeshurun and moderator Barbara Rudnick of Minneapolis Jewish Family and Children’s Service.
The program will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 7:30 p.m. at Adath Jeshurun Synagogue, 10500 Hillside Lane West in Minnetonka. Any adults touched by intermarriage are welcome. There is no charge, but advance reservations are requested, by calling Adath Jeshurun, 952.215.3904 or e-mail ninas@adath.net.
People who cannot attend but would like to be informed of future programs on interfaith couple and family issues may contact the synagogue.
