In early August, Hennepin County will close Gleason Lake Road (County Road 15) between Glen Haven Road in Wayzata and Gleason Acres Drive in Minnetonka for approximately eight weeks. This closure is necessary for the replacement of a failing timber retaining wall, as well as for upgrades to the Wayzata sanitary sewer and lift station systems, storm sewer installation and completion of an off-road walkway connection to close the gap in the existing off-road system. The length of the closure is weather dependent. The project was originally scheduled to begin in July, however has been delayed. For more information call Hennepin County at 612-596-0279.
