It's Decision Day For Minnetonka High School Seniors
Seniors celebrated their plans for after high school and looked back on memories during Decision Day.
Tuesday, May 1 was a big day for seniors at
About to graduate from high school, seniors donned their new colleges' jerseys, t-shirts and hoodies. They gathered in the College and Career Center during their lunch hours for cake and a slideshow of senior photos.
Phil Trout, the college counselor at the high school, said the day of celebration embraces the plans the students have made. It's also a great time to document their plans if they hadn't declared any yet.

"We do something very simple– we serve our seniors cake," he said. But in it's fifth year, it is a day students get excited about.
Trout said about 93 percent of the graduating class is moving on to a college or a university. Others have joined a branch of the military, are planning mission trips or plan to work.
