Letter to the Editor: Vote Selcer for State Representative

As the summer slips away and signs of school starting appear, parents should be concerned not only about their child's classroom, but about the state's state of education. 

We begin the new year with the state still owing our children's schools $2.4 billion dollars, thanks to Representative Kirk Stensrud and his party borrowing from our kids to solve the state's budget problems.

When Yvonne Selcer faced a budget problem on the school board, she tackled it in a responsible, honest way, making smart, collaborative decisions that left the district in strong shape. That's the kind of lawmaker we need in District 48.

We have known Yvonne for 15 years and can vouch she is credible, earnest and will make our district a better place. 

Vote for Yvonne Selcer this fall for state representative.
