Lower Flags to Remember I-35W Bridge Victims
Four years ago today, the I-35W bridge collapsed.

Gov. Mark Dayton has ordered U.S. and Minnesota flags lowered to half staff on Monday, Aug. 1 on the fourth anniversary of the I-35W bridge collapse in Minneapolis.
Today, Dayton says, is a day to honor and remember the victims, to offer support to their families and to thank the police officers, fire and rescue personnel and other first responders who were there to assist.
The bridge collapsed at 6:05 pm on Aug. 1, 2007. Thirteen people were killed and 145 other people were injured.
