Minnetonka Girls’ Soccer Players Seek to Impress Coaches

Dozens of Minnetonka High School girls showed off their best moves on the pitch as they sought to earn a place on the Skippers’ soccer team.

The varsity team’s season launches with a scrimmage at 1 p.m. Saturday at Minnetonka and another scrimmage at 4 p.m. Tuesday against Prior Lake, also at Minnetonka. The first actual game is at 5 p.m. Aug. 22 against Robbinsdale Armstrong at Sonnesyn Park (3421 Boone Ave. N., New Hope).
