• Mommy’s Time: Clay Play Day Art Class: Start off the weekend early with this fun class. The class takes place from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Glen Lake Activity Center (14350 Excelsior Blvd., Minnetonka). The class cost $24. • Enjoy Shady Oak Beach: Summer is on the wane. Enjoy the nice days while they’re still here at Shady Oak Beach. The beach is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Aug. 1 and then 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 2 through Aug. 25. Swimming in the lake ends a half hour before sunset.
