The Minnetonka girls tennis team is preparing for the State Tournament. They play Rochester Mayo High School in the first round of the tournament at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the Baseline Tennis Center on the University of Minnesota campus. The team won the section 2AA title after defeating Eden Prairie 5-2 on Oct. 11.   In the section finals, the team beat Mound-Westonka (7-0), Delano (6-1), Mankato West (6-1) and Eden Prairie (5-2). The team is coached by Dave Stearns. See <a href="http://www.mshsl.org/mshsl/showXMLbrackets.asp?tournid=2621&amp;bracket=5874" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">state tournament brackets.</a>
