VIDEO: Students Thank Veterans

Fourth grade students at once again presented a program on Veterans Day. Students sang patriotic songs, read poetry and participated in the posting and retiring of colors.

Members from the Honor Flight Network were honored for their work. This group is a Twin Cities based non-profit that transports Veterans at no cost to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials.

Guest speakers included: Curt Carpenter, principal at Clear Springs Elementary (Air Force Veteran) and Tad Shaw, a community member and former school board member (U.S. Army Veteran).

Local veterans and families of the performers occupied the audience for this annual program.
