Wildlife Art Exhibit Continues at Minnetonka Art Center

There’s no denying that artists Jim, Joe and Bob Hautman know wildlife. The men—from Chaska, Plymouth and Delano, respectively—have won 10 of the last 23 Federal Duck Stamp competitions and have been featured on more than 50 state conservation stamps.
Local residents can continue to see their work up close at a Minnetonka Center for the Arts exhibit that runs through Oct. 26. The exhibit features about 50 original works, ranging from small acrylic studies and field sketches to duck stamp originals and large wildlife oils. Many pieces are for sale.
Internationally recognized wildlife artists Jim, Joe and Bob Hautman, from Chaska, Plymouth and Delano, respectively, are living legends in the world of conservation and wildlife art. Among them, they have won a total of ten Federal Duck Stamp competitions, and have been featured on more than 50 state conservation stamps. This exhibit will consist of 50 to 60 original works, ranging from small acrylic studies and field sketches to duck stamp originals and large wildlife oils. This rare retrospective of the brothers' work will feature many pieces for sale, an unusual opportunity for collectors.

Minnetonka’s Fall Fun Fest takes place from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Minnetonka Amphitheater.
There will be musical entertainment by Kidpower with Rachael, storytellers, hayrides, face painting, pumpkin painting, hot apple cider by the fire, games, treats and more. Children are encouraged to wear costumes, although they are not required.
The event, which is for 1 to 10-year-olds, cost $8 per child. Adults are free.
