• Middle Fork of the Crow River Watershed District recognized as district of year (wctrib.com) — Nisswa recently hosted the statewide Minnesota Association of Watershed Districts conference, where the Middle Fork of the Crow River Watershed District was honored as Watershed District of the Year. The Spicer-based district was recognized for major water-quality projects, including dam replacements, erosion control, and hydrogen sulfide monitoring, all aimed at improving lakes and rivers across central Minnesota.
