Nathaniel Edwards-Gaona (hometownsource.com) — Former North Branch football standout Nathaniel Edwards-Gaona is making an impact as a freshman defensive lineman at the University of Minnesota Morris after switching from tight end. He credits his time at North Branch, especially guidance from athletic trainer Ally Hoopman, for inspiring his interest in exercise science and athletic training. He’s now thriving on the field while building a custom major around that passion. 
• North Central SBDC announces spring Market Mornings schedule (brainerddispatch.com) — Small business owners in and around North Branch can join free Marketing Mornings watch parties at the Chisago County HRA-EDA office this spring, with topics ranging from Canva to Google Ads. Sessions run monthly January through May 2026, are just 45 minutes, and are also available virtually. Organizers emphasize practical tips plus in-person networking with other local entrepreneurs.
