
Carol Traynor, age 68 of Northfield, passed away suddenly Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Northfield Hospital following a brief illness. Funeral Services will be held at Life21 Church in Northfield, Thursday, July 26th at 7:00 pm with visitation starting at 6 pm.
Carol Joyce Traynor was born November 10, 1943 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, daughter of Glen and Dorothy (Kinney) Causer. She was raised in Olean, NY and following school was united in marriage to Ronald Banks in 1960. Their first home was in Storm Lake, IA and in 1964 they moved to Minneapolis and then to Savage. In 1982 she married Robert Traynor and they lived in Savage for 4 years before moving to Stewart, MN.
During this time Carol began running a day care from her home and thoroughly enjoyed her work. After the death of her husband in 1995 she moved to Northfield. In Northfield she worked in housekeeping at the Three Links Care Center. She also worked at Northfield Retirement Center. At Northfield Hospital she worked in Long Term Care and housekeeping before retiring in 2011. Carol enjoyed the outdoors and camping, was a fan of country music, and loved being a grandmother.

Carol Traynor is survived by children Rodney Banks of Northfield, Glenda Banks and fiancée Kelly Lindgren of Northfield, Doug (Linda) Banks of Plymouth, sister Joni Causer of Tampa, FL; brother Dick Causer of Kansas City, KS; and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Ronald and Robert; 1 brother and 8 sisters.
