• St. Olaf students spread holiday cheer with multilingual caroling tradition (stolaf.edu) — St. Olaf students are keeping a long-running caroling tradition alive in Northfield, bringing multilingual holiday songs to spots like Northfield Hospital, Three Links Care Center, and neighborhood homes. More than 70 students from across the country joined this year’s outing, filling campus and community spaces with classics like Silent Night and Jingle Bells while connecting the college more closely with local residents.

• Riley scores OT game winner against state ranked Waseca (southernminn.com) — Northfield boys hockey, ranked No. 9 in Class A, edged No. 20 Waseca 1–0 in overtime behind a shutout from goalie Gavin Winter and a clutch winner by Bridger Riley. The Raiders outshot Waseca heavily, had a weather-postponed home game vs. Mankato West, and now look ahead to a post-Christmas road swing to Detroit Lakes and Pequot Lakes.
