Registration Now Open for Northfield Rotary Club’s Thanksgiving “Turkey Trot”

The Northfield Rotary Club will hold its annual Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run/Walk on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, 2011.

The event begins at 9 a.m. at the , located at 707 Prairie Street in Northfield. Registration for pre-registered and same day registrants opens at 8 a.m.  The cost to participate is $12 prior to November 18 and $15 after that date.

Each of the first 300 registrants will receive a commemorative long sleeve t-shirt. A time clock displays at the finish, but no official times will be kept.  Awards will be given to the top male and female finisher. 

Proceeds will be used to benefit the Northfield Union of Youth and Rotary International’s “End Polio Now” campaign.
